The Hasbach Division RRT tests for SAE: J2425 ISO: 28580 Rolling Resistance Standard


The Hasbach Division lab testers come in single station or multiple station designs. Multiple Station Machines use one loadwheel to test more than one tire / size at the same time.

This machine uses the torque method to measure rolling resistance, under controlled laboratory conditions, for new passenger / light truck pneumatic tires. It correlates measurement results to enable inter-laboratory comparisons.

Add the optional camber unit to compare rolling resistance from tires, free-rolling straight ahead, to a steady-state tire with camber in a position that is perpendicular to the drum outer surface.

PID Plot

  • A diagnostic tool used to evaluate the performance of each PID control loop (e.g. radial loading, slip, etc.)
  • Allows visualization of real-time PID values, including target (setpoint), analog output, and analog input feedback
  • Equipped with zoom-in/zoom-out and scrolling capabilities to provide optimal performance visibility
